Colours for Loch & Roll presented the first ever Live at Loch
Lomond event, which was a huge success. It was our intention to introduce
a new festival to the West coast of Scotland, with Loch Lomond an
ideal location being situated15 minutes from Glasgow City Centre,
and only 1 hours drive from 90% of Scotland’s population.
Over 30,000 revellers over 2 days attended, this was the biggest
audience out of the 4 new festivals that launched in Scotland in 2007.
The picturesque site on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and inside
Scotland first National Park hosted the following stages:
Main Stage headlined by Faithless, Feeder, Dirty Pretty Things, Calvin
Harris, Supergrass The Bluetones, and Aim.
Dance Tent with a 3,000 capacity headlined by Carl Cox, David Guetta,
Pete Tong and Darren Emerson.
New Band Tent with a 1,500 capacity showcasing Tiny Dancers, New
York Fund, The Law, Cosmic Rough Riders and The Hedrons.
Rock DJ Tent with a 1,500 capacity hosted by Wasted Little DJ’s with
exclusive DJ sets by The View, Bez, Ocean Colour Scene, Babyshambles
and Embrace.
Hacidena Classics/Death Disco Tent with a capacity of 1,500 headlined
by Erol Alkan, Shit Disco (Live), Peter Hook, Manni and A Guy Called
Gerald (live).
VIP Tent/Area with a capacity of 800 which looked onto the picturesque
Loch Lomond Shore
