This year's Live at Loch Lomond is shaping up to be the summer festival of choice with announcements of yet more acts, appealing to all ages and musical tastes.
First up there's Idlewild, celebrating 13 years in the industry; the Edinburgh band will play the main stage on Sunday 3rd August. Vocalist Roddy Woomble and his band will treat fans to a selection of their hits since they formed in '95. The band returns with a new single 'A Ghost in the Arcade' on 18th June and are included in the line up for a number of festival shows in the UK. The track is taken from the band's recent album 'Make Another World' released earlier this year on Sequel which received outstanding reviews.
Making a welcome return are the Stereo MC's whose track 'Connected' was an anthem for the 90s and is still guaranteed to get any festival goers' groove on. The band has some amazing new material to showcase at the event and will appear on the main stage on Saturday.
Alabama 3, the British band who achieved international acclaim when their track "Woke up This Morning" was used as the title song in the award winning TV series, The Sopranos, will play the main stage on Saturday. The festival favourites are notable for their innovative fusion of styles, lyrics and their outrageous live performances.
